Rosemary Pennock
I have a background of studying Fine Art, Sculpture to degree level, back in the 70’s. I never got on with Oils, and Acrylics in their present form were not yet available then. I’m afraid I got quite disillusioned with the art scene back then, as I never understood abstract art, and I couldn’t speak for half an hour about the deeper meanings of my work, probably because there wasn’t any! I just paint what I find beautiful, which is generally the British countryside, and wildlife, though I have painted the odd steam train for my husband, who is a fan of them. I discovered Acrylics when I retired some years ago, and haven’t looked back.
